Robert S. Miller is a shareholder of Braver PC. Prior to becoming shareholder, Rob was a senior manager in the audit department at Braver. Rob has over twelve years of related experience, including six years as an auditor in a national firm, where he was an audit manager. He has taught college level courses at several Boston area schools and assists in the development and maintenance of the firm’s quality control procedures.
Rob is responsible for managing audits and reviews of clients across a variety of industries, including technology and software, real estate, service companies, not-for-profits, manufacturing and other closely-held companies. He has assisted companies in the area of mergers and acquisitions, including the performance of internal control reviews as well as evaluation of existing controls and recommendations for improvement. In addition, he periodically assists businesses in the area of fraud prevention and detection.
Rob is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston University and his Master’s degree in Accounting from Suffolk University.
