Cynthia is a Principal of Braver with over 20 years of experience in Public Accounting. She joined the firm as an Accounting and Tax Manager in 1996 and was later promoted to Senior Tax Manager.
Cynthia provides a wide range of services in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax compliance and tax planning. Cynthia specializes in real estate, and partnership and trust taxation as well as income tax planning for individuals.
Prior to joining Braver, Cynthia worked as an accounting and tax manager for the public accounting firm of Mathias, Barnes and Henshaw, PC in Lexington for seven years. Before moving to Massachusetts in 1984 she worked for the public accounting firm of Nishball, Srebnick, Zaluda, Carp and Neidermeier, PC in Bridgeport, Connecticut, for three years. Cynthia also served as Controller for CGI Management, Inc, a real estate management and development company in Brookline, Massachusetts, from 1985-1988.
Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a Certification in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as a member of the Society’s Real Estate Committee. Cynthia actively participates in the Braver Learning and Development Program provided to the firm’s staff members.
