Steve joined B&C Business Strategies, LLC as a managing director in 2004.  As a head of the division, Steve works directly with clients on a broad spectrum of business issues.

Steve’s focus is working with owner/operators of mid-level companies on issues of cost containment and bottom line improvement.  With the resources of B&C Business Strategies, Steve will help clients develop their organizations for the purpose of  supporting sustainable growth; planning the path for growth; implementing the plan.  Steve has worked successfully with owner/operators of mid-market enterprises in architecture, construction, trades, technology, manufacturing, sales, and services.  He is an expert in the areas of organizational development, administrative management, marketing and sales, and generational issues. 

As a founder of Nolan Brown Partners LLC, a mid-market consulting firm, Steve served as a managing partner for five years. Nolan Brown, specialized in working with companies in transition:  positioning an enterprise for sale, building succession plans, helping to train the next generation of management for our clients.

Steve’s previous experience as owner and President of a mid market, independent commercial office products distributor was highlighted by his company’s strong performance for more than two decades and its ultimate acquisition by a Fortune 100 company, where he served as director of mid-market sales in Massachusetts.

Steve earned his MBA from Suffolk University and holds a BA in Sociology from Bates College.
